  Note from the
Festival Chairs

WOW, what a week!  We opened with a sold out crowd for Hava Nagila and an extraordinary party complete with Deli and amazing live music.  The performers from "SOUL AVIV" were a wonderful attraction to get the crowd in the spirit of celebration.  The week continued with great crowds of movie goers viewing films ranging from comedy to drama and some provocative scenes in between.  The Young Adult division happy hour was a wonderful addition and viewing the film on relationships and love was a perfect choice.  Having scholars from USC, Columbia College and the Educational Director at the Tree of Life added depth and insight to two of the movies during the week with engaging discussion.

The community is still buzzing about the Jewish Film Festival this year and the committee is already committed to planning for next year......stay tuned!
